Luke Gilford is a filmmaker and photographer from Santa Cruz, CA. Luke studied Art at UCLA and his photography and films have been exhibited around the world; including MoMA in New York and FOAM in Amsterdam, as well as at Sundance's NEXT festival. Luke’s work provides a poetic and cinematic look into his surreal world, taking a storytelling approach across multiple mediums and creating stunning imagery with a unique narrative vision. Luke’s first film was directing David Lynch in a dreamlike short for Dom Perignon. Soon after, Luke wrote and directed The Future of Flesh, a short film featuring Prada's Fall/Winter collection, narrated by Jane Fonda. The project received critical acclaim and led Luke to develop his work further; writing and directing his first narrative film, Connected, starring Pamela Anderson and Dree Hemingway, and again featuring Jane Fonda. Luke has directed music videos for Blood Orange and Troye Sivan and collaborated with brands such as Mercedes Benz and Maison Martin Margiela. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Dazed & Confused, V Magazine, and Vogue.
